日本大阪的死亡金屬勁旅 Subconscious Terror，在 2025 年推出的這張《Devoid of Seraphim》再次證明了老牌樂團回歸後的強悍生命力。這張 EP 由印尼極端金屬大廠 Brutal Mind 發行，延續了樂團自 1994 年成立以來那種純粹、暴戾且充滿壓迫感的死金美學。
音樂表現上，這張作品並不追求前衛的實驗性，而是將 90 年代佛羅里達死金的草根性與現代精準的錄音技術融合。主打歌〈Devoid of Seraphim〉展現了極高頻率的雙踏鼓點與沉重的吉他 Riff，主唱深邃的低吼則賦予了歌曲一種地獄般的空間感。
