《Unquestionable Presence》於 1991 年由美國佛羅里達技術死亡金屬先驅 Atheist 發行，被公認為金屬樂史上最具革命性的里程碑之一。
這張專輯將傳統死亡金屬的極速狂暴，與爵士融合樂的複雜拍號、突如其來的奇數拍與爵士貝斯切分音完美的結合。整張專輯雖然僅短短 32 分鐘，但密集的吉他對位、極具前衛感的編曲與鼓手 Steve Flynn 靈動的打擊技巧，重新定義了金屬樂的技術極限。
這也是一張帶著悲劇色彩的大師之作。原本的靈魂貝斯手 Roger Patterson 在專輯錄製前夕因車禍驟逝，樂團隨後邀請 Cynic 貝斯手 Tony Choy 補上位置，重現 Patterson 精妙的貝斯聲線。全輯以神學、哲學與人性思考為歌詞核心，不僅是前衛死亡金屬的奠基之作，更是一座至今無法被超越的高牆。
